Men paying for ‘superhero jawline’ with cosmetic treatment that ‘makes them more attractive’
Superman, Prince Charming and Batman all have one thing in common – a strong and prominent jawline. These chiseled-chinned characters are often seen by both men and women as the ‘ideal’ man, and this is apparently down to science.
Harley Street doctors, Dr Zoya Diwan and Dr Sanjay Trikha, have seen more and more men booking this particular procedure to achieve a better jawline.
Jack Malin, an actor from Potters Bar, Herts, wanted a little more definition, believing this could be achieved with a stronger jaw.
We joined him on his trip to Harley Street to meet the team at Trikwan Aesthetics.
When people think of a procedure that will essentially change the shape of the face and jaw, assumptions of painful jaw breaking surgeries may come to mind. But this jawline enhancer is a non-invasive, quick and relatively pain-free option.
After a consultation, the treatment consisted of intricately mapping out the face and measuring proportions, followed by various injections of filler that mimics bone to the cheeks, chin and jaw.
Dr Zoya Diwan “We have all seen how ‘Brotox’ marketing has targeted men for years. What’s wrong with looking a little older? When have you ever heard someone say David Beckham looked better at 20 than he does now?!
“Now we have a far better understanding of how to create an “ideal attractive man”, and it’s by emphasising manly features, not trying cling onto youth”
Dr Sanjay Trikha said “The key to understanding this procedure is to understand what perfect male proportions are. I love doing this procedure due to the sheer artistry and technical complexity of it”
